Short Information :- State Bank of India , SBI are invited to online application form for the apprentice recruitment 2021 .

                                Pay the Exam Fees Through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking Only .

ONLINE EXAMINATION DATE :- TENTATIVELY IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2021


Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 (as amended from time to time). 

 1.Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Candidates can appear for the   examination only once under this engagement project.

  2.The process of registration is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through online mode on or before the last date for payment of fees. 

 3.Candidates are requested to apply Online through the link given on the following website https://nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship or https://apprenticeshipindia.org or http://bfsissc.com or https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/ careers.
 
 4.All revisions/corrigendum (if any) will be hosted on the Bank’s website only. 

5. State wise seats of apprentices, State wise Local languages, District wise training seats, Age, Education qualification, Duration of training, Training, Stipend, Selection Process, Examination Centres, Fees and other related parameters are mentioned below:

* Candidates to opt for ONE specified local language of his selected State atthe time of online application. 

** The number of training seats mentioned above is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.

AGE:- Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.10.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1992 and not later than 31/10/2000 (both days inclusive). Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION as on 31.10.2020:

Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute

DURATION OF TRAINING: 

 Duration of training is of one year.

STIPEND/ BENEFIT:-
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for

WEIGHTAGE/RELAXATION IN RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES:-

Weightage/Relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates will be given to the apprentices who have successfully completed the Apprenticeship training in our Bank

SELECTION PROCESS:-
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language. 

Online written test:-

The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows 



Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.

The questions will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi, except for the test of General English. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subject. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.

Test of local language: 

The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the specified local language of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part
of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear forthe test of specified opted local
language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.

Medical Examination:

 Engagement of selected apprentices is subjectto his/her being declared medically fit as perthe requirement ofthe Bank. Final Selection will be subject to:
 a) Verification of eligibility forthe post and information furnished in the online application 
 b) Qualifying in test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above. 
 c) Qualifying in the Medical examination. 

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates can apply online and no other mode of application will be accepted. 
(a) GUIDELINES FOR FILLING APPLICATION & PAYMENT OF FEES:-[ONLINE MODE ONLY]: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through website https://nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship or https://apprenticeshipindia.org or http://bfsissc.com or https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers – Engagement of Apprentices in SBI. Helpdesk: In case of any problem in filling up the form, queries may be made at telephone no. 022-22820427 (between 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM only on working days) or lodge his/her query on http://cgrs.ibps.in. Candidates are advised not to forget to mention ‘Engagement of Apprentice in SBI’ in the subject of the email. 
Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS. 
 1) Candidates should first scan their photograph, signature & documents as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph, signature & documents (Annexure-I). 
 2) Candidates to visit website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and open the appropriate Online Application Form, available in the ‘Current Openings’. 
 3) Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. In the event of candidates not being able to fill the data in one go, they can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved data using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will be available three times only .Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data .There after, the registration is final and no change/ edit of any data will be allowed. The registration at this stage     is   provisional. 
 4) After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, following the instructions available on the screen. 
 5) Fee can be paid by using debit card/credit card /internet banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates. 
 6) On successful completion of transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated, which may be printed for record. Printout of Application Form is NOT to be sent to SBI. 
 7) If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online.

(b) GUIDELINES FOR SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH & SIGNATURE: Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given in Annexure-I. Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload photo & signature as specified. 
 Note: 
1. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear ,the candidate’s application may be rejected.
2. In case the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidate may edit his application and re-upload his photograph or signature.

(c) CALL LETTERS FOR EXAMINATION: The candidates should download their call letter and an “acquaint yourself booklet” by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from the Bank’s website https://nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship or https://apprenticeshipindia.org or http://bfsissc.com or https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers tentatively in the month of August, 2021.
NO HARD COPY OF THE CALL LETTER FOR ONLINE WRITTEN EXAMINATION & ACQUAINT YOURSELF BOOKLET WILL BE SENT BY POST

(d) PROOF OF IDENTITY TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF EXAMINTION: The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as passport/Aadhar/ PAN Card/Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letter head in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which or if identity of candidates is in doubt the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.

(e) ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT: 
 (i) Candidates are cautioned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered/fabricated and they should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form. 
 (ii) At the time of examination, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of: 
(i) using unfair means during the examination or 
(ii) impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or 
(iii) misbehaving in the examination hall or 
(iv) resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection or (v) obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable: 
 a) to be disqualified from the examination for which he/she is a candidate 
 b) to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination conducted by Bank.
 (iii) The Bank would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the basis of such an analysis, if it is found that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his/ her candidature. 
 (iv) USE OF MOBILE PHONES, PAGERS, CALCULATOR OR ANY SUCH DEVICES: 
 a) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from future examinations. 
 b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/pagers etc. to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured. c) Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession of calculators in examination premises.

DISCLAIMER: In case it is detected at any stage of engagement of apprentice that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), indulge in unfair practice in the process, his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after engagement, his/her training is liable to be terminated. Decisions of Bank in all matters regarding eligibility, conduct of written examination, other tests and selection would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the bank in this regard.

Guidelines for scanning and Upload of Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) & Signature

Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below:

Photograph Image:
 
• Photograph must be a recent passport size color  picture. 
• Make sure that the picture is in color , taken against a light - colored , preferably white, background. 
 • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face 
 • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows 
 • If you have to use flash, ensure there’s no “red-eye” 
 • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. 
 • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face. 
 • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) 
 • Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb 
 • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colors etc., during the process of scanning

Signature Image:
 
 • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen. 
 • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person. 
 • The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary. 
 • If the Applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Call Letter ,the applicant will be disqualified.
 • Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) 
 • Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb 
 • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb 
 • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.

Scanning the photograph & signature:

• Set the scanners solution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots perinch) 
 • Set Color to True Color 
 • File Size as specified above 
 • Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/ signature ,then use the upload edit or to crop the image to the final size (as specified above). 
 • The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. 
 • Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50kb&20kb respectively by using MS Paint or MSOffice Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50 kb (photograph) & 20 kb(signature) by using crop and then resize option (Please see point(i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the ‘Image’ menu. Similar options are available in other photo editor also. 
• If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed. 
 • While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his/her photograph and signature.

Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature:

 • There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature 
 • Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph/Signature” 
 • Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph/Signature file has been saved. 
 • Select the file by clicking on it 
 • Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button

After uploading the photograph/ signature in the online application form candidates should check that the images are clear and have been uploaded correctly. In case the photograph or signature is not prominently visible, the candidate may edit his/ her application and re-upload his/ her photograph or signature, prior to submitting the form. If the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the candidate’s application may be rejected.

Your Online Application will not be registered unless you upload your photograph & signature as specified. Please Note:

1. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the candidate’s application may be rejected. After uploading the photograph/ signature in the online application form candidates should check that the images are clear and have been uploaded correctly. In case the photograph or signature is not prominently visible, the candidate may edit his/her application and re-upload his/ her photograph or signature, prior to submitting the form. 
2. After registering online candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated online application forms.
